Calgary Christmas light installers for your home

We install Christmas lights across Calgary: G30 globe bulbs on custom-built E17 strands, hung straight by our family-run Elves and taken down in spring.

G30 globes: the traditional Christmas look, upscaled.

Big, round, glowing bulbs, the way Christmas lights are meant to look, built to last and hung with care.

  • UV protected

G30 globes are UV protected, so they don't yellow, shatter or crack as easily as ordinary bulbs.

  • They keep their clarity

Clear, bright colour season after season, without the cloudy, faded look of tired bulbs.

  • Professionally installed

Our Elves hang every strand perfectly aligned and straight, so your roofline looks polished from the street.

  • Custom E17 strands

Built to your roofline's exact lengths, on white or black wire to blend with your trim.

Good to know before you book

  • Our lights or your own?

Most homes go with ours: G30 globes on strands built for your roofline, $7/ft installed in your first year, with a 5-year warranty when you use our setup and takedown service.

    More detail
Want to use your own lights? Our Elves can install them for $32.50 per strand, always with our own professional clips. Lights that didn't come from us aren't warrantied, and return visits caused by failures in them are chargeable.
  • When will my lights go up?

In the season you choose: Early Bird (mid-September to the end of October) or peak season (November to mid-December). You choose a season, not an exact date.

    More detail
It's better for the lights. The weather is generally better for installing. You can leave them unplugged until you want them on. Waiting for November? Pricing is higher in peak season, and the cold is harder on the strands. Early bird access closes Thanksgiving Monday.
  • Who takes them down?

We do. Takedown is part of every seasonal installation: pick a preferred month, January to about April 1, and our Elves take everything down once conditions are right.

    More detail
Takedown in spring is 40% of the installation amount, shown as its own line on your estimate. Unplug your lights whenever you're done enjoying them. Our Elves remove them once conditions are right. Prepaying keeps things easy after Christmas, when nobody wants another bill. Most of our regular clients prepay.

For trees, professional 5 mm contractor-grade mini lights, with a twinkle option. We buy them from a Canadian lighting supplier.

  • Can I choose my own colours?

Yes. Every colour combination and pattern is designed for your home, unlike box-store systems with predetermined patterns. Tell us what you love when you request your estimate, and our Elves will help you design it.
